Eligibility
Appendix 1: Eligibility Criteria for Applicants 1. Shows/events must be located in the Ireland. 2. The applicant must be a legal entity with audited accounts. Successful applicants may be required to provide a tax clearance certificate. 3. The legal entity and or person making application must be in good standing with Horse Sport Ireland. 4. Applicants must complete and return the relevant application form with ALL of the requested supporting documentation (see Appendix 3). 5. Applications may be deemed ineligible if they are considered to duplicate initiatives already funded by HSI. 6. In cases were applicants are applying for funding for more than one class the applicant must complete ‘Section 2’ of this form for each of the classes. 7. All grant funding will be provided in the form of prize money or breeding incentives. 8. Applicants must demonstrate how their applications supports the national breeding programme. 9. All HSI sponsored class(es) are confined to equines that are registered in a DAFM Approved studbook OR are documented as Irish bred (place and country of birth) in their studbook passport (Section I, Part A, 2b)
10. All successful applicants must sign a grant agreement with HSI.
· Appendix 2: Evaluation Criteria for Applicants Applicants which are applying for funding will be evaluated by the Grant Application Evaluation Committee under the following evaluation criteria:
