The National Enterprise Awards are the leading recognition of the success of small businesses in Ireland. The awards final will be held at an event in Dublin in June providing substantial media profile for all finalists and winners. Finalists will compete for a number of investment funds worth over €50,000.
We are now inviting Expressions of Interest from businesses who would be willing to represent Carlow in the National Enterprise Awards.
To be eligible to enter a business must be:
· Located in Co. Carlow
· A current client of Carlow County Council’s Local Enterprise Office
· Have 10 or less FTE employees on 31/12/2021
· Be a manufacturing business or have an internationally traded service
In addition, entrants must previously have received at least one of the following supports from the Local Enterprise Office:
· Business expansion, feasibility or priming grant aid
· LEO Innovation Investment Fund (LIIF) Support
· County Winner of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur
· Technical Assistance for Microexporters (TAME) grant
· Completed a LEAN programme
All businesses who express an interest in representing Carlow will be provided with a mentor to help them complete the application form and other documentation required.
A separate investment fund of €7500 will be provided to category winners in Co. Carlow:
· Overall Winner - €2500
· Best Exporter - €1000
· Start Up Business - €1000 (for businesses who started trading after 1 January 2019
· Innovation Award - €1000
· Green/Sustainability Award - €1000
· “One To Watch” Award - €1000
