The NTR Wind Farm Community Benefit Funds are now closed, applicants can expect to hear the results of their application no later than mid January 2023.
The Funds will reopen again in September 2023.

The NTR Community Funds were established to support projects, groups and organisations neighbouring our wind farms. The funds aim to support community based projects which contribute to the overall development of these areas.
Conducting business in a socially responsible manner is important to NTR. Recognising that they draw significant support from the communities in which they operate, NTR are committed to ensuring that such support is reciprocated through an actively managed programme of social and community support activities. NTR divert funds from each of our projects to sustainable supports for communities in which they operate.
The funds aim to support community and voluntary projects which are located near to the Wind Farm.
Organisations currently supported by the wind farm are eligible to apply, however, it should be noted that such applications may not be prioritised.
Unincorporated groups may apply to the fund, up to a project value of £/€2,000.
The fund supports projects / activities which clearly contribute to at least one of the following categories:
• Health and wellbeing
• Village and community enhancement
• Sport, leisure and recreation
• Social Inclusion, including children, youth and active retired age groups
• Community infrastructure
• Environmental projects, including biodiversity and habitat conservation
Sample Projects
• Renovation or upgrade of community buildings or facilities
• Purchase of equipment for use by community groups or clubs
• Outdoor classroom or friendship gardens for preschool and school age children
